Assistant Store Manager

About the role

PVH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Tommy Hilfiger outlet in Outlet City, Tawa, Wellington. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, manage daily operations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPI metrics and budget goals.
• Oversee stock management, visual merchandising and inventory control.
• Recruit, train, mentor and motivate a team of sales associates.
• Monitor and improve conversion rates, average transaction value and shrinkage.
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to store initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or management experience in retail apparel or customer‑service environments.
• Proven ability to meet KPI targets such as sales, UPT and conversion rates.
• Strong communication and people‑management skills.
• Attention to detail in stock handling and visual presentation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive, energetic attitude.
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
