About the role

Join Nando’s as an Assistant Restaurant Manager and help create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for guests while supporting a diverse team. You’ll work side‑by‑side with staff to keep operations smooth, grills hot, and customers smiling.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
• Lead and motivate the team, setting the tone for a positive, energetic shift.
• Coach staff to deliver the signature Nando’s experience for both new and loyal guests.
• Maintain inventory, manage cash handling, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking.

Required profile

• Passion for coaching and developing people in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and creativity in running restaurant operations.
• Alignment with Nando’s values: Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity, and Family.
• Legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand and be at least 18 years old.

Required skills

• Liquor accreditation (where applicable).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Manager accreditation as required by local legislation.
