About the role

Join Nando’s as an Assistant Restaurant Manager on Queen Street, where you’ll help create a vibrant, welcoming environment for guests while supporting a dynamic team. You’ll be the right‑hand to the Restaurant Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering the signature Nando’s experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations, including service flow, grill management, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team, setting the tone for a high‑energy shift.
• Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards, including liquor licensing and food safety.
• Monitor inventory, control costs, and support financial performance.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand and be at least 18 years old.
• Passion for people‑focused, fast‑paced hospitality environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a creative approach to restaurant management.

Required skills

• Liquor accreditation (as required by local legislation).
• First Aid certification.
• CPR certification.
• Manager accreditation (as required by local legislation).
