Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Join Savills' collaborative Project Management team in Auckland as an Assistant Project Manager. You will support the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple small to medium‑scale, complex construction projects, gaining hands‑on exposure across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Managers in delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Participate in design, consenting, procurement, construction monitoring, contract administration and project close‑out.
• Help coordinate project responsibilities and stakeholder engagement.
• Support the administration of consultant and construction contracts.
• Ensure compliance with Savills’ policies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in project management, construction or client‑side consulting.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications related to the construction or built environment sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft software packages (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
