Assistant Customer Marketing Manager – China & Hong Kong (12‑Month Maternity Cover)

About the role

This 12‑month maternity cover position supports the China & Hong Kong Customer Marketing Manager in executing the regional marketing strategy. You will collaborate with sales, finance, product, regulatory, agencies and distributors to drive brand growth and market share across both markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing 3‑year strategic plans and annual marketing plans.
• Execute consumer and customer marketing campaigns, especially on social media and livestreaming platforms such as Little Red Book, Douyin, Facebook and Instagram.
• Coordinate monthly performance reporting, provide insights and recommendations.
• Prepare agency briefs, oversee campaign execution and produce marketing collateral.
• Support product portfolio management and innovation activities, including workshops, consumer research and packaging briefs.
• Maintain website content for China & Hong Kong platforms and update packaging information for bonded warehouses.
• Monitor competitor activity, product launches and customer feedback, sharing insights with the wider team.
• Partner with sales to support new product launches, channel expansion, promotional activities and training materials.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and verbal); Cantonese fluency and ability to read/write Traditional Chinese.
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, International Business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in brand/marketing and cross‑border e‑commerce (CBEC).
• Strong computer literacy, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
