Assistant Accountant – Allrounder Role

About the role
United Cellars is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support its fast‑growing wholesale and e‑commerce wine and spirits business. This hybrid position offers exposure to the full accounting cycle, working closely with a collaborative finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with month‑end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite.
- Prepare and analyse basic financial reports.
- Support ad‑hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong interest in accounting and finance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
