Assembler – Wafer Fabrication Equipment

About the role

Join the Global Operations Group and support the assembly of wafer fabrication equipment in a high‑volume, clean‑room environment. You will follow computer‑based work instructions, use hand tools and fixtures, and help maintain production flow for Lam’s semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate computer‑based work instructions to install parts and hardware on wafer fab equipment.
• Use hand tools, lift hoists, gantry cranes and other fixtures as required.
• Perform visual inspections of components before installation and verify checklists during audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to clean‑room and safety protocols (PPE, LOTO, ZEST).
• Support workflow by responding to rework, NPI changes and overtime needs.
• Communicate production issues, improvements and shift status to supervisors and peers.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in any engineering field.
• 1–2 years of electrical/electronics assembly experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, including overtime and limited travel.

Required skills

• Electrical and electronics assembly.

• Microsoft Excel and Word (Microsoft Office).
• Clean‑room procedures and Lockout‑Tagout (LOTO) safety practices.
