Area Manager

About the role

NEEDO Limited is seeking a full‑time Area Manager to oversee daily operations across its multiple pasta‑bar locations in Auckland. You will ensure consistent product quality, excellent customer service, and strict adherence to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop store managers and their teams.
• Monitor sales performance and implement improvement plans.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling and recruitment across sites.
• Implement operational procedures, optimise inventory and control costs.
• Maintain health, safety and food‑hygiene compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership on local marketing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Support new store openings and special projects as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multi‑site hospitality or retail management.
• Strong operational expertise, including inventory and cost control.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a record of high service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to prioritise across locations.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with flexibility for weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Prior experience in restaurant or quick‑service operations.
• Relevant qualification in hospitality management or business is beneficial but not mandatory.
