Architectural Technician – Wellington

About the role

WSP is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its established Architecture team in Wellington. Reporting to the Studio Leader, you will help deliver high‑quality architectural projects, supporting design, documentation and project management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural designs and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate building elements and ensure design consistency.
• Manage client relationships, maintain existing accounts and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting and on‑site coordination as required.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial architecture.
• Proven ability to work across a variety of building types and construction methods.
• Current, clean driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
