Architectural Graduate

About the role

MODE is seeking an Architectural Graduate to join its multidisciplinary team in Auckland. You will work under the direction of a Senior Architect, collaborating with project teams across New Zealand and Australia to deliver high‑quality design, documentation, and construction outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Produce innovative, compliant designs and detailed documentation for a variety of sectors.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Mentor and oversee architecture students where appropriate.
• Maintain BIM models and ensure consistency across project deliverables.
• Support project managers in tracking time, cost, and quality targets.

Required profile

• Accredited architectural qualification recognised in New Zealand, Australia or the UK (or equivalent).
• Minimum two years post‑graduate employment experience.
• Strong understanding of national competency standards, building codes and relevant industry standards.
• Excellent communication, judgment and a proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
• Design, documentation and coordination expertise.
• Construction detailing knowledge.
• Project management capabilities.
