Architectural Designer – Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to lead residential design projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure designs meet compliance, consent requirements and client vision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design projects from initial concept to final delivery.
• Produce effective designs and technical drawings that satisfy compliance and consent requirements.
• Engage with clients to understand their vision and deliver tailored design solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• LBP1 certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years experience as an Architectural Designer or Technician in New Zealand.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and building codes.
• Proficient in ArchiCAD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
