Applications Support Specialist – Enterprise Systems (Contractor)

As an Applications Support Specialist for Enterprise Systems, you will own a portfolio of critical business applications across Finance, HR, Payroll, Learning, Procurement and other corporate functions, ensuring they remain reliable, high‑performing and aligned with the needs of Southern Cross Healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2‑3 support for enterprise and clinical applications, investigating and resolving complex incidents and service requests.
• Participate in system releases, upgrades, testing, configuration and ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor integrations, APIs and data flows to keep systems connected, secure and operating seamlessly.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors to deliver enhancements and improve performance.
• Produce clear documentation and partner with teams to optimise business processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting enterprise or clinical applications within a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with Patient Administration Systems (PAS), Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) or similar clinical applications.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive, customer‑focused approach.
• Experience with ITIL service management practices and incident, problem and change management.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clinicians, business stakeholders and technology teams.
