Application Support Analyst – SharePoint & M365

About the role

The Ministry of Justice is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join its Digital team. You will support key Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps, helping business users resolve incidents and improve their use of digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for SharePoint, M365 apps and Azure DevOps, handling incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues and business stakeholders to diagnose defects and create problem records.
• Maintain application support processes, collect performance statistics and produce regular reports.
• Assist in the development of SharePoint solutions and PowerShell scripts where required.
• Stay current with Ministry processes and contribute to continuous improvement of digital services.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience supporting SharePoint, Microsoft 365 applications and Azure DevOps.
• Experience developing SharePoint solutions or using PowerShell is desirable.
• Willingness to learn advanced M365 tools such as Purview or Power Platform.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
