Application Developer (Mobile/Farm Management App)

About the role

We are looking for an Application Developer to design and build a mobile application or progressive web app that supports field‑level farm management for palm oil, bamboo and orchard crops. The solution will enable farm workers to log events, manage fertigation and capture photos through an intuitive map‑based interface, with voice‑driven actions for hands‑free operation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a mobile app or PWA focused on usability for field workers.
• Implement a map view that allows users to log photos and events directly from the field.
• Create a fertigation control module that integrates with the map and supports section‑based management.
• Integrate voice‑based actions throughout the application to enhance accessibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver a solution that meets operational needs.
• Conduct testing, iterate on feedback and ensure reliability and user satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, well‑documented code and follow best practices in mobile development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mobile app or PWA development, preferably for agricultural or field‑operations contexts.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Strong UI/UX sense with a focus on minimal, intuitive design.
• Experience integrating map‑based features and photo‑logging functionality.
• Familiarity with voice‑interaction and accessibility implementations.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of backend integration and data management for event and fertigation logs.
• Availability for a short‑term project with potential follow‑up work.
