About the role

Mott MacDonald is offering a summer internship programme in New Zealand for the 2026/27 period. The programme is designed for penultimate‑year students to work on real infrastructure and technology projects alongside experienced engineers and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of major infrastructure, transport, water and building services projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across New Zealand and the wider Asia‑Pacific region.
• Develop technical solutions and contribute to project documentation.
• Participate in structured learning sessions, mentoring and buddy programmes.

Required profile

• Penultimate‑year student in Mechanical, Electrical, Transport, Water, Building Services, Software Engineering or Data Science.
• Strong passion for engineering, infrastructure and problem solving.
• Motivated to learn, work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
