About the role
Join a supportive AOD team helping people create positive change through group facilitation, assessments and recovery‑focused support. The position is based on‑site in Christchurch Central and is a full‑time role within the Christchurch City Mission. You will work as part of a supportive AOD team, contributing to the mission’s goal of improving community health and wellbeing. The practitioner will engage directly with clients and team members, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' recovery journeys.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate group sessions for individuals dealing with alcohol and other drug issues.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate client needs and progress.
- Provide recovery‑focused support and guidance to clients.
