AI Training Engineer – Remote Contractor

About the role

DataAnnotation is seeking an AI Training Engineer to help advance AI development by creating and evaluating coding tasks used to train intelligent systems. This is a remote, independent‑contractor position that offers flexible hours and the ability to choose projects that match your expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems, with a focus on Android development, to train AI models.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and detailed explanations for each task.
• Evaluate AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide constructive feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress.
• Previous experience as a software developer, coder, or programmer is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet assessment requirements.

Required skills

• Preferred experience in Kotlin.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills for clear documentation.
