AI Architect

About the role

HSO is looking for an AI Architect to design secure, scalable AI solutions that drive innovation for our customers. You will shape enterprise AI strategy, guide technical teams, and ensure responsible AI practices across global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise AI strategies, frameworks, and governance.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI solutions, including migration, modelling, testing, and deployment.
• Design scalable AI systems while applying responsible AI, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor technical teams, promote best practices, and foster cross‑functional collaboration.
• Partner with customers to identify AI opportunities and enhance existing solutions.
• Deliver workshops and share emerging technologies across teams.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience developing AI solutions, models, and governance frameworks in production.
• Proven ability to lead projects and teams from concept to production.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex architecture to non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organisational, and learning mindset.
• Deep understanding of ethical, privacy, and security obligations.

Required skills

• ML/AI deployment with containerisation, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric pipelines, CI/CD.
• Data engineering: ETL, data lakes, streaming systems.
• Cloud‑native architecture: Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Infrastructure as Code.
• MLOps/DataOps: monitoring, retraining, governance.
• Model optimisation and performance tuning.
• API design & integration (REST, gRPC, MCP).
• ML lifecycle expertise from experimentation to production.
• LLMs and Generative AI: prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation.
• Agentic systems: vector databases, semantic search, multi‑agent workflows, memory management.
• Responsible AI practices and security‑aware design.
