Agri Relationship Manager

About the role

The Relationship Manager in the Business & Agri function will support and enhance the financial wellbeing of agricultural customers across the Marlborough area. You will build and maintain critical agri relationships and identify opportunities to expand ANZ’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and grow profitable relationships with a portfolio of agri business customers.
• Develop deep knowledge of customers’ business needs and provide proactive financial solutions.
• Promote value‑add materials, workshops and specialist services to customers.
• Grow and maintain a customer portfolio while nurturing long‑term client relationships.
• Enhance ANZ Business’s profile through networking and demonstrating our differentiators.
• Collaborate with internal teams across the bank to support customer growth and success.
• Deliver excellent customer service to build strong relationships and networks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management and delivering customer‑focused solutions.
• Previous experience in banking, finance or the agricultural industry is beneficial.
• Strong networking skills to enhance and grow customer portfolios.
• Analytical ability to evaluate financial accounts, budgets and cash‑flow.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to act decisively on information.
