Advisor – Operations Support, Courts & Tribunals

About the role

This position offers an enthusiastic and proactive Advisor the chance to work in a fast‑paced environment supporting the Courts and Tribunals teams across New Zealand. You will provide direct advice to frontline service delivery and well‑reasoned guidance to senior managers and ministers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct advice and support to frontline Courts and Tribunals operations.
• Prepare high‑quality correspondence, manage issues and risks, and provide technical advice.
• Conduct data analysis and help set work‑programme priorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent national advice.
• Tri­age, scope and deliver work‑program priorities to high standards.
• Develop practical tools and information to aid frontline staff.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering work on time and to a high standard.
• Exceptional written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to build trust across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment and influencing priorities.
• Resilient, solution‑focused and able to view issues from multiple perspectives.
