Activities Operator – Guest Experience Team

About the role

Join Skyline Rotorua’s Activities Team and help create unforgettable memories for guests across a range of world‑class attractions. You’ll work outdoors in a fun, fast‑paced environment, covering areas such as Luge, Zipline, Gondola, Mountain Bike Patrol, and Guest Services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and supervise Luge tracks, ensuring guest safety and enjoyment.
• Guide visitors on the Zipline experience.
• Assist with Gondola operations and guest flow.
• Patrol mountain bike trails, providing support and safety oversight.
• Handle ticketing, photography services, and general guest assistance.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and customer service.

Required profile

• Energetic attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences in tourism.
• Willingness to work diverse, fun teams and rostered shifts (weekends, holidays).
• Legal right to work in New Zealand and agreement to health‑and‑safety procedures, including random drug/alcohol testing.

Required skills

• Intermediate mountain biking ability (essential for Mountain Bike Patrol).
• Pre‑Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) qualification (highly desirable).
