Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

As an Accounts Receivable Officer at KPMG, you will be central to the finance function, ensuring accurate and efficient management of receivables while delivering excellent support to internal teams and external clients. Your work will help maintain financial integrity and contribute to the smooth operation of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and some accounts payable, resolve discrepancies and address outstanding balances.
• Prepare and process payment files and cash receipts.
• Prepare and review financial documents such as invoices and staff expense claims for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from creditors, debtors, and internal stakeholders regarding billing, payments, and account information.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Manage procurement activities as required and recommend actions to improve efficiency.
• Provide backup support for other members of the accounts team.

Required profile

• Knowledge of SAP (preferred) and strong Excel skills.
• Experience in client relationship management, both internal and external.
• Strong numeric and organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation.
• Professional, team‑player attitude with a patient and friendly manner.
