About the role
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy finance team on a part‑time basis. Based at our Phillipstown office in Christchurch Central, you will work a flexible 32‑hour week spread over four or five days. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of the accounts payable function.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and reconcile statements.
- Manage purchase order matching and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare regular reports on cash flow and outstanding liabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support procurement and budgeting activities.
Required profile
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with vendors and colleagues.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard accounting software.
