Accounting Professional – APAC & Global

About the role

Join Trimble's dynamic accounting team as an Accounting Professional supporting both APAC and global operations. Based in Christchurch, you will ensure financial accuracy across monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes, including lease accounting for the global group and detailed entries for the New Zealand entity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities for APAC and US entities.
• Manage lease accounting for the global group and prepare detailed journal entries for the NZ entity.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations.
• Research and advise on technical accounting matters, including US GAAP and local reporting standards.
• Lead sections of annual financial audits for APAC and the United States.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑jurisdictional teams to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or in the final stage of CAANZ membership.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
• Commitment to professional standards, legislation and company policies.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial analysis.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (preferred).
• Knowledge of US GAAP (preferred).
