About the role
Exciting opportunity to embed yourself in the finance function of a long‑established, operationally driven New Zealand manufacturing business. Reporting to the owner, you will own the core day‑to‑day accounting tasks and have the chance to expand your remit as payroll, job costing and production costings evolve.
Key responsibilities
- AP / AR management
- Purchase order reconciliation
- Month‑end process and management accounts preparation
- GST and FBT returns
- Payroll management
- Job costing, production costings and import costings
- Day‑to‑day liaison with management on finance and operational queries
Required profile
- Experience with AP/AR and reconciliations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working autonomously in a small team environment
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, import or distribution (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of NZ GST and FBT
Required skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- MYOB Greentree experience (preferred)
