About the role
The Accountant Assistant will support the finance team by handling day‑to‑day transactional accounting for both New Zealand and Australian entities. You will assist with month‑end close processes and provide general office administration support. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Penrose, Auckland.
Key responsibilities
- Process daily transactional entries for NZ and Australian subsidiaries.
- Assist in preparing and reconciling month‑end financial statements.
- Maintain accurate ledger records and support audit activities.
- Provide routine office administration, including filing and document management.
Required profile
- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills.
