Account Manager – On-Premise Sales (Auckland & Christchurch)

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to lead our on‑premise sales in Auckland, with a portfolio of key bars and restaurants and occasional travel to Christchurch. You will build strong relationships with mature on‑premise clients, identify growth opportunities and drive commercial performance for Pernod Ricard’s premium spirits portfolio. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term covering parental leave until mid‑July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, grow and optimise a diverse portfolio of on‑premise customers in Auckland and selected accounts in Christchurch.
• Develop and execute territory plans aligned with company objectives, including sales, distribution and activation targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts and oversee end‑to‑end sales processes.
• Create client‑focused promotion activities and business plans.
• Report on territory performance, analyse sales data and provide timely internal reporting on market trends.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in FMCG or beverage sector, preferably on‑premise.
• Strong knowledge of the on‑premise liquor trade and established relationships with bars and restaurants.
• Passion for spirits, champagne and cocktails.
• Tertiary qualification in business or related field (advantageous but not essential).
• Full driving licence.
• Results‑oriented, ambitious and able to work independently.
