Account Manager – Industrial Sales (New Zealand)

About the role

Graymont is looking for a driven, customer‑focused Account Manager to grow wallet share and expand market opportunities across New Zealand. Based in Hamilton, you will serve key industrial sectors such as construction, mining, pulp & paper, and water & wastewater.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a tactical sales plan for the New Zealand territory, meeting budgeted commercial objectives.
• Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility.
• Collaborate with other Account Managers and the Director of Marketing APAC to identify new customers and market trends.
• Organise selling and promotional activities, implement pricing policies, and apply Commercial Excellence tools.
• Generate new leads, increase market share, and deliver insights on customer and competitor activity.
• Work closely with plant, technical service, and customer service teams to meet quality and service expectations.
• Use Salesforce CRM for quoting, pipeline management, and customer interaction tracking.

Required profile

• Exceptional communication and confident presentation skills.
• Analytical ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Experience in industrial or technical sales, preferably within mining, construction, or building‑product sectors.
• Hunter mindset with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales budgets.
