About the role
Smartways Logistics is seeking an Account Manager for New Zealand to be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of healthcare logistics clients. You will own the client experience, drive retention, and identify growth opportunities while shaping the commercial function as the business expands.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain 100% client retention across your portfolio by building trusted, long‑term relationships.
- Conduct regular strategic business reviews and provide meaningful performance reporting.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, leading cross‑functional teams during escalations.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to increase share of wallet.
- Analyse client pain points and recommend Smartways solutions that add measurable value.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing B2B client relationships, preferably in healthcare or logistics.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value‑based selling.
- Ability to act as a strategic partner, understanding client business goals and challenges.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
