Account Manager – Construction Solutions

About the role

Join Hilti as an Account Manager and drive growth for construction leaders across Wellington. You will own a portfolio of customer accounts, schedule your own work plan, and deliver high‑level consultations that showcase Hilti’s innovative tools.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain daily face‑to‑face relationships with customers to uncover business opportunities.
• Plan and optimise daily routes (Time and Territory Management) to maximise sales productivity across your zone.
• Act as a Hilti Champion by presenting technical solutions and high‑value consultations on‑site.
• Record all interactions and sales activities in Salesforce for accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Customer‑facing sales experience (essential).
• Minimum 3 years in the construction or infrastructure sector (preferred but not mandatory).
• Trade or technical background is highly desirable.
• Strong value‑based, solution‑selling mindset with a proven drive for results.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working on construction sites and project offices.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and legal right to work in New Zealand.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
