Account Executive (Partner Sales)

About the role
The Account Executive will drive new partner acquisition, expand the existing partner base, and sell ConnectWise software solutions. Working closely with the broader sales team, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, targeting both new and existing accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospects within the Ideal Customer Profile through cold calling, email outreach, and business reviews.
- Maintain a robust pipeline to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Negotiate contract terms, discounts, and implementation details while adhering to ConnectWise pricing and margin guidelines.
- Close an average of 85 transactions per year, each roughly $15K in annual value, with a typical sales cycle of 25‑30 days.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, providing detailed support and documentation.
- Research, analyze, and document market and partner insights.
Required profile
- 6+ years of experience in technology or software sales, preferably within Managed Service Provider (MSP), Technology Service Provider (TSP), or security sectors.
- Proven ability to manage large projects independently with limited supervision.
- Strong phone presence, capable of making 40‑50 outbound calls daily.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions.
- Knowledge of Technology Service Provider (TSP) solutions.
- Understanding of the security industry landscape.
