About the role
We are inviting early expressions of interest for the 2027/28 New Zealand Institutional Summer Intern Programme at ANZ. The eight‑week internship runs from November 2027 to February 2028 in Auckland, with a three‑week break over the Christmas and New Year period. Interns will be introduced to the Institutional banking division, which serves some of the country’s largest corporates.
Key responsibilities
- Gain exposure to specialist teams across Institutional banking.
- Support day‑to‑day activities related to lending, account and market products.
- Assist with client‑focused projects and research under supervision.
Required profile
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to speak up, share opinions and influence outcomes.
- Diverse academic background from any discipline.
- Strong interest in banking and finance.
