Website Content Specialist – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are seeking a Website Content Specialist to join our Marketing team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering parental leave. Based in Wellington, you will lead the refresh of our website to align with our member‑first tone of voice and improve navigation for members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive review and refresh of all website content.
• Rewrite and simplify copy using plain‑language principles.
• Improve content structure, navigation and user journeys.
• Support migration of content into new templates and formats.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency and governance of website content.
• Apply SEO best practices to boost visibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to deliver updates.
• Provide guidance on content quality, tone of voice and digital experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in website content, content strategy or digital content roles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Experience working with CMS platforms and managing website content.
• Strong understanding of SEO and content performance tools.
• Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Collaborative mindset comfortable working with Marketing, Digital, Product, Legal and Compliance teams.
