Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

At ABB, the Warehouse Supervisor leads a warehouse team within a manufacturing unit, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while supporting a two‑shift production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
• Lead, develop and mentor team members, manage staffing and performance.
• Ensure warehouse procedures are followed for timely inbound and outbound product movement.
• Optimize warehouse capacity, inventory and floor utilization in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager.
• Identify operational improvements and oversee implementation of performance enhancements.
• Resolve critical product or equipment issues with internal teams.
• Champion a safety‑first culture, ensuring all team members go home safe every day.
• Build engagement and accountability across shifts, fostering trust and open communication.
• Participate in regular inventory control processes.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities with supervisory and coaching experience.
• Experience leading teams across multiple shifts in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to support extended production hours and two‑shift operations.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure, demonstrate resilience and balance people leadership with operational delivery.
