Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator

About the role

AsureQuality’s Lynfield laboratory is the largest food testing facility in the Southern Hemisphere. We are looking for a motivated Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator to keep our stores, warehousing and inventory processes running smoothly for over 500 staff members.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement of laboratory consumables and chemicals, ensuring quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain and organise inventory of consumables, chemicals and other site supplies.
• Track, record and report inventory levels using the company’s inventory system.
• Process internal orders and prepare consumables for distribution across the site.
• Pack chemicals and sensitive materials safely and securely for internal use.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Participate in regular inventory audits and help resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to client queries regarding their orders and supply status.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of inventory management, procurement and logistics, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with laboratory consumables and chemicals is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail and good computer literacy.
• Customer‑centric attitude, ability to multitask and maintain physical fitness for handling stock.

Required skills

• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
