Warehouse Assistant – Otahuhu, Auckland

About the role

Transpower is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join its Otahuhu site in Auckland. You will play a hands‑on part in receiving, storing and dispatching materials that keep New Zealand’s power network running. The role offers on‑the‑job learning in a supportive, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify quantities and store items safely.
• Pick, pack and dispatch materials, spares and assets for the national grid.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets and heavy loads efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure tidy warehouse conditions.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily logistics targets.

Required profile

• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
