About the role

The Voyage Management Development Program at JW Marriott Auckland offers recent university graduates an 18‑month, full‑time, paid journey into hotel rooms operations. Participants rotate across key functions, work on real‑world projects and receive mentorship from senior leaders, preparing them for a future management career in hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships on the hotel floor.
• Identify and champion innovative ideas to improve guest experience.
• Assist in managing projects, teams and daily operational tasks.
• Analyze processes, propose enhancements and present a Voyage capstone project.
• Participate in management meetings and contribute solutions to operational challenges.
• Collaborate with fellow Voyage participants worldwide through structured networking tools.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in hospitality, business or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a passion for the hotel industry.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
