Vintage Laboratory Technician

About the role
We are looking for a Vintage Laboratory Technician to join our team in Blenheim during the 2027 vintage season. You will work on‑site in a modern winery laboratory, supporting the production of award‑winning Kim Crawford wines and gaining hands‑on experience in winemaking.
Key responsibilities
- Perform laboratory analyses and record results throughout the vintage period (early March to mid‑April).
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Generate and maintain accurate reports using computer systems.
- Work flexible shifts, up to 8‑12 hour days, six days a week.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols in the laboratory environment.
Required profile
- Minimum 2‑3 vintages of laboratory experience in a winery.
- Team‑player with high motivation and a can‑do attitude.
- Comfortable with shift work and seasonal schedules.
- Health‑and‑safety conscious.
Required skills
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Reporting and data‑entry skills.
