Vice President, Global Commercial Asset Lead

About the role

MBX Biosciences is looking for a strategic and visionary leader to own the global commercialization of its first product, canvuparatide. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Vice President, Global Commercial Asset Lead will shape brand strategy, positioning, and go‑to‑market execution across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the global brand strategy, positioning, and launch plan for canvuparatide.
• Lead the cross‑functional Global Asset Team to define value proposition, patient segmentation, and channel marketing strategies.
• Conduct market entry assessments, determine sequencing, and drive launch readiness and optimization.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for global launch readiness and support key markets pre‑ and post‑launch.
• Represent the commercial function on the Program Leadership Team and collaborate with Clinical, Medical, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, IT, and R&D.
• Build and lead a high‑performing brand team, attracting top talent.
• Partner with Clinical and Medical Affairs to lead lifecycle management and evidence generation.
• Leverage market research and analytics to inform strategy and ensure differentiation.
• Develop global promotional and educational materials, campaigns, playbooks, and congress strategies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in global pharmaceutical or biotech commercial launch.
• Strong track record of building and leading high‑performing brand teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
• Demonstrated ability to work in matrixed, cross‑functional environments.
• Experience representing commercial functions at executive governance bodies.
