About the role
Are you a Veterinary Nurse looking to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families? Join our Papakura clinic on a part‑time basis and provide outstanding nursing care alongside skilled veterinarians.
Key responsibilities
- Perform veterinary nursing procedures under veterinarian guidance.
- Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anaesthesia.
- Collect and submit diagnostic samples.
- Assist with X‑ray imaging, patient monitoring and treatment.
- Place IV catheters.
- Conduct veterinary nurse consults, offering advice on pet health, nutrition and wellbeing.
Required profile
- Diploma‑qualified Veterinary Nurse with experience.
- Warm, friendly manner and ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
- Enjoys building meaningful connections with clients and patients.
Required skills
- Veterinary nursing procedures.
- Surgical assistance and anaesthesia monitoring.
- Diagnostic sample collection.
- X‑ray imaging.
