About the role

As a Trip Driver for Contiki in New Zealand, you will be the engine behind unforgettable travel experiences for young adults aged 18‑35. You will transport guests across the country’s diverse landscapes, from rugged coastlines to alpine passes, while ensuring safety and comfort throughout each journey.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Contiki coaches safely across New Zealand, adhering to schedules and road regulations.
• Provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere for travellers from around the world.
• Collaborate closely with Trip Managers, local guides, suppliers, and the Operations team.
• Maintain the coach’s cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and passenger‑endorsement requirements.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for New Zealand and its visitors.
• Willingness to work away from home for extended periods, especially during the peak summer season (December‑February).
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and a calm, professional demeanor.
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, resilience when plans change, and pride in delivering high‑quality service.
• Commitment to safety at all times.

Required skills

• Valid Class 4 driver’s licence with a P (Passenger) endorsement, or the ability to obtain them quickly.
• Clean driving record and strong references.
