Transport Planner – Logistics Services

About the role

As a Transport Planner you will use specialist logistics software to execute and monitor the wood flow plan, ensuring successful outcomes for forest owners and contractors. You will balance the detailed needs of harvesting contractors with the broader objectives of the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule harvesting contractors and logging trucks to optimise fleet utilisation and minimise distribution costs.
• Monitor production, inventory and delivery targets, and generate regular performance reports.
• Negotiate with suppliers and customers, and resolve issues on‑site when required.
• Support the Regional Manager and promote a positive, collaborative culture.
