Tourism Tutor

About the role

We are seeking a Tourism Tutor to join our Auckland Airport campus. In this full‑time, fixed‑term position you will deliver our Tourism and International Flight Attending programmes, helping students achieve their qualifications and launch careers in the travel industry.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate learning using existing curriculum and resources for Tourism and International Flight Attending courses.
• Provide a high‑quality student experience and support learners in meeting assessment requirements.
• Guide students on career pathways within the tourism and airline sectors.
• Utilise provided teaching tools and training to develop effective instructional delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in the travel or tourism industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Tourism or a related field (advantageous).
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and fostering student success.
• Teaching experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of tourism and airline operations.
• Ability to use curriculum delivery tools and learning platforms.
