Test Station Operator

About the role

Elgas Limited is seeking a hands‑on Test Station Operator to test and re‑certify LPG cylinders. You will ensure each cylinder meets safety and compliance standards before it leaves the plant, working closely with the plant team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing and re‑certification of LPG cylinders according to safety procedures.
• Complete safety and compliance checks, reporting any issues immediately.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including tools and equipment.
• Assist other plant areas when required to meet daily production targets.
• Document test results and ensure only compliant cylinders are released.

Required profile

• Reliability and a strong focus on safety.
• Hands‑on attitude with willingness to get involved in practical tasks.
• Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Physically fit for a practical work environment.
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems as they arise.

Required skills
