Territory Manager - FMCG Sales

About the role

Kraft Heinz is hiring a Territory Manager for its New Zealand Sales team, based in the Waikato Region around Auckland. This is a permanent opportunity for a sales professional who wants to grow their career in a collaborative, dynamic environment with a track record of internal growth and career advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Territory planning and performance: use data to understand performance drivers, identify opportunities and develop and execute store and territory plans.
• Customer engagement: build productive relationships with buyers, owners, managers and store teams, tailoring communication to each store's needs.
• Selling and influencing: share recommendations confidently and secure distribution, ranging and display opportunities.
• Merchandising execution: deliver merchandising standards, relays and planograms accurately and on time, keeping products well-stocked and visible.
• Manage routines, time and priorities across multiple stores, seek feedback and look for ways to improve.
• Work in line with Kraft Heinz's food safety, environmental, health and safety, ethical and human resources policies.

Required profile

• Sales experience with an FMCG company with a proven track record, or with key international or local retailers.
• Experience interpreting, selling and presenting with data and insights.
• Ability to work independently, in a team and under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Highly organised and commercially astute.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the territory on 4/5 working days.
• Support from the Regional Field Sales Manager.

Required skills

• Competent in Excel and able to interpret basic data outputs.
• Effective retail execution: identifying sales opportunities, interpreting simple store data and giving clear recommendations.
• Strong relationships built through active listening and adaptable communication.
