Temporary Traffic Management Worker – Queenstown

About the role

Join Downer’s Queenstown Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) crew. You’ll work on the road setting up, maintaining and packing down traffic control sites, ensuring safety and smooth flow of vehicles. No prior experience is required – full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Set up traffic management equipment and signage at construction or maintenance sites.
• Maintain and adjust traffic control measures throughout the workday.
• Pack down and remove all equipment safely after works are completed.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear provided safety gear.
• Use a phone or tablet to record basic reports and site information.
• Work collaboratively with crew members in all weather conditions.

Required profile

• Full Class 1 Restricted or Full NZ Driver Licence.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Reliable, safety‑focused and a good team player.

Required skills

• Basic reporting using a mobile phone or tablet.
