About the role

Terélian, a VINCI Construction subsidiary, is looking for a Survey Technician to support large‑scale railway and road infrastructure projects in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. The position is based on the GC OA8 site in Saint‑Médard‑d’Eyrans and involves field surveying, GPS guidance, and data reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys of natural terrain, existing structures, and utility networks.
• Assist in setting up and verifying secondary polygonal control for the site.
• Produce small‑scale execution plans and on‑site layout drawings.
• Document survey results (reception sheets, measurements, as‑built reports).
• Maintain daily activity logs and ensure GPS guidance of machinery.
• Set up, calibrate, and monitor GPS bases and frequency.
• Prepare and validate GPS control points for equipment and track their use throughout the project.
• Verify machine files (TP3) and ensure correct alignment of equipment.
• Support the site manager with GPS pole or total station usage.

Required profile

• Minimum BTS/DUT qualification in Topography or civil engineering (BTP).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in surveying or construction sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using Mensura software.
• Knowledge of Topcon 3D GPS equipment.
• Ability to manage GPS bases, frequencies, and control files.
