Technical Lead – Contract (Node.js/Express, TypeScript, AWS)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide a dynamic development team in building high‑performance, scalable web applications. You will own the technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of robust solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks and AWS cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design, architect, and oversee full‑stack web applications using Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through code reviews, feedback, and collaborative learning.
• Define best‑practice architecture, design patterns, and development processes for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Utilize AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) to build and deploy cloud‑native applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements and promote DevOps practices.
• Drive Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Proven ability to build backend services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Extensive experience deploying large‑scale applications on AWS.
• Demonstrated skill in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
