Technical Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

Vrax is looking for a Technical Co‑Founder & Chief Technology Officer to own the technical vision and build the product. This early‑stage role combines hands‑on engineering with strategic roadmap planning to transform a threat‑intelligence engine into an enterprise‑grade platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale the core intelligence pipeline, including automated ingestion, NLP‑assisted triage, human verification, and structured enrichment.
• Architect high‑availability, enterprise‑ready APIs that stream structured data into customer SIEMs, SOARs, and other security platforms.
• Establish coding standards, test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Manage cloud hosting, environment provisioning, data integrity, and strict platform security controls.
• Translate company objectives into a pragmatic technical roadmap, balancing rapid delivery with scalable architecture.
• Make build‑vs‑buy, cloud‑cost, and tech‑stack decisions to ensure a high‑signal, cost‑efficient infrastructure.
• Represent Vrax’s technical engine in customer discovery, integration discussions, and investor calls.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor engineers as revenue thresholds are reached.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead technical vision and act as the primary architect and builder of complex security platforms.
• Comfortable allocating ~70% of time to hands‑on engineering and ~30% to strategic planning.
• Experience partnering directly with founders and stakeholders to scale early‑stage products.
