About the role

English 1 is looking for enthusiastic entry‑level teachers to deliver English lessons to young learners (ages 3‑16) in schools across China. The position is full‑time, on‑site, and includes comprehensive training, visa sponsorship and ongoing mentorship, making it ideal for recent graduates or professionals transitioning into education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑energy English lessons using English 1’s award‑winning curriculum and digital teaching tools.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Participate in school events, cultural activities and student engagement programs.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create an immersive, interactive learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid passport and clean background check.
• Genuine interest in education, travel and cultural exchange.
• ESL certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is a plus; sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms or digital classroom tools.
